MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />NOVEMBER 17, 2020 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Law Gareau, <br />Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and Clerk of <br />Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Director of Human Resources Gallo <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting. <br />Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested if any <br />member of the public using a computer wished to address Council to notify the Clerk via <br />the chat feature in GoToMeeting and they would be called on later in the meeting. For <br />those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of <br />the meeting. <br />The Council Meeting Minutes of November 4, 2020 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2020-117. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• City offices will be closed on November 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving. <br />• ODOT has provided the City a draft contract for all properties requested by the <br />City. The contract is currently under review in the Department of Law. The City <br />will need to engage the services of a surveyor to establish a legal description and <br />provide any other plat information to include in the contract. Several firms have <br />been contacted to provide quotes for this service. <br />• Two firms were interviewed last week to provide engineering services for the EQ <br />Tank project. The Board of Control must approve the selection and agreement. <br />The consultants' first task will be to begin an environmental review of the <br />potential sites. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• On November 5, 2020 the September month end summary and detail reports were <br />sent to Council, along with the quarterly narrative. <br />
