MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />APRIL 21, 2026 <br />Council President Brossard: <br />The Council meeting of April 21, 2026, will now please come to order at 7:30 p.m. The audience <br />is invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />All: <br />I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it <br />stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Will the Clerk please call the roll? <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Brossard: Present <br />Ms. Carr: Present <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Here <br />Mr. Limpert: Present <br />Mr. Madden: Here <br />Mr. Marrie: Here <br />Mr. Scarl: Present <br />Mr. Shymske: [absent] <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Welcome to our packed Council Meeting this evening. <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the Council Meeting Minutes of April 7, 2026, are <br />approved as written. <br />There are no items being requested for suspension this evening, and that'll move us into <br />reports. <br />Mayor Dailey Jones, do you have a report this evening? <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Jones: <br />do. Thank you, Mr. President. <br />• I'd like to start out tonight by just extending our thoughts and prayers to the <br />communities of Parma and Parma Heights and Valley Forge High School. I know all of us <br />here are thinking of those communities and what they're going through right now, and <br />so I just wanted to acknowledge that. <br />
