Denning, Franz, Zingelmann and <br />Parkero <br />Absent - Mr. Reesere <br />The Minutes of the meeting held iMarch 19, 1945 were read ta <br />the Council. It was moved by Mr. Parker, seconded by -Mr. Heiss9 tha.t <br />the Minutes be approved..as read. <br />RaII CaI1:- Ayes - Messrs. Denning, Franz, ZingeLmann and P.arker. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />1VIinutes Apgroved. <br />The N[ayor then read the resignation of idr. Reeser as Councilman <br />tiqho resigned for the reason that he has sold his property in the Village <br />and is moving out of the State. <br />It was then maved by Mr. Franz, secQilded by Pfrs Denning that the <br />resignation be acceptedm <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Denning, Franz, ZingeLmann a.nd Parker. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion Carried. <br />After discussion ti,ras had, it was moved that i'Jir. Gustav Sv:7anson <br />be elected as a councilman to filZ the vacancy caused by the resignation <br />af iJlr. Reeser to fill out the unexpired terme The motion was made by <br />l,fr. Denning.and seconded by Mro Heissv <br />Roll Call: Ayes - iUiessrs. Denning' Franz, Zingelmann and Parker. <br />Nays - idone a <br />Mation Carried. <br />The Cl.erk pro tem then read .a Ietter from the Village of ivayfield <br />Heights advising this Village that it had been determined by the Gcpiznci2 <br />of Mayfiel.d Heights that the members of the fire department of that <br />Village were to be paid the sum of $3.00 per cal.l for each fire call. made <br />by them outside of the limits of the ViZl-age of lrayfield Heights, effective <br />May I, 1945e Said Ietter further stated that if this arrangement was not <br />satisfactory to this Village, that the contract for fire protection would <br />be cancalled. <br />a
