' MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MFETING HELD AUGUST 25, 1947. <br />? <br />r The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in the Town Hall a.t <br />9a00 otclock P.M. pursuant to the resoluti.on of a.djourrunent of the regular <br />rneeting held August 18, 1947, Mayor Car_l C. Scheu.ring presidinge <br />Roll Calle Present - Nessrsv Frn.nz, Swanson.,, Sloa.n, Pa.rker, <br />Zingelmann and Hei;ps W <br />Absent - None. <br />Mr. Sloan then introduced the following resolution: <br />"WHEREAS,, this council contemplates issuing $69000 of <br />bonds fbr the purcha.se of fire apparatus and equipment, <br />"NOW, THEF..EFORE, be it resolved that the Clerk of this <br />council, as the fiscal officer thereof, be and he is hereby <br />requzsted to certify his estimate of the life of usefulness of <br />tr:e property and the maximum maturity of bonds calculated in <br />aecordance with:the provisions of Section 2293-9.of the Genera.l <br />Code." It was then moved by Mr, Sloan, secondecl_ b.y.
