MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETTNG HELD JANUAR.Y 17th9 1938. <br />The Couneil of the Village of Mayfield met in the Town Ha119 Mayfield Village., <br />Ohio, on the 17th day of January, 1938, at 8 o'clock P.M. in regular meeting, <br />Mayor ponald Doster.presiding. <br />Rol1 Call: Present, Messrs. Parker9 Corlette Heiss, Shortle., Hawkins and <br />Mrse parker. <br />Ab sent, None o <br />The oath of office was then administered to 144essrs. Parker, Corlett, Heiss, <br />Shortlep Hawkins and Mrs. Parker as Councilmen by F. W. Dorn, Notary Public. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on Decernbar 20th., 1937 were rsad <br />to the Council. It was moved by Nir. Corlett9 seconded by Mr. Parker9 that the <br />minutes of the regular meeting held December 20th, 1938 be approved as read. <br />Roll Cal1: Ayes' Messrso Parker, CorZett, Heiss, Shortle, Hawkins and PILrs. <br />Parker. <br />Nays, None. <br />. PJlotion carried. <br />? 144inutes approvedm <br />The Mayor then appointed 111lr. Herbert Neill/as Building Tnspector. Upon <br />motion duly made and carried the said appointment was unanimously approved by <br />the Council. <br />The gayor announced the follotiving appointmentss <br />/Finance Comnittee - IyRr. Parker, Chairman., Mr. Heiss and Mr. Shortle <br />vl7elfare and Relief Committee - PYZr. Hawkins, Chairman., iMr. Parker <br />and Mayor posterm <br />On motion of Niro Corlett, seconded by Mr. Heiss9 put to a vote and unanimously <br />carried, the appointments were confirmed. <br />It was moved by Mrs. Parker, seconded by lJr. Corlett, that Mr. Heiss be <br />elected president pro tem of the Councilo <br />Roll Calla Ayes9 Messrsa Parker., Corlett9 Heissg Hawkins, Shortle and Pllrs. <br />Parker. . <br />NaJs, Noneo <br />Motion carried. <br />The Mayor then announc d the appointment of Alfr.ed Goetz as Street <br />Commissioner?
