~dinutes of the Regular Meeting December 21, 1953 The Council met in regular meeting on December 21st' 1953, at 8 OL•olock P. M, at the Village Hall, 'Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding. Roll Call: Present Messrs. Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess Cass and Endress Absent None. In the absence. of the Clerk, Mr. Arnold M. Edelman, the' Solicitor, was appointed to act, as Clerk pro terra r The Minutes of the regular meeting held November 16, 1953, were read. It was ,moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Dr. tiValtz, that the Minutes be approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess, Cass & Endress Nays - None Motion Carried Minutes Approved The rfii.nutes of the Special Meeting held November 28th, 1953, were read. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that the Minutes be approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oa.tess, Cass & Endress Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved rdayor Swanson read a letter from the East Ohio Gas Company with plans for a proposed gas main on the West side of SOM Center Road from Thornapple Drive South to the Rentschler property and on the South side of Thornapple Drive from SOM Center Road East. It was moved by Mr. Sloan,.seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the plans be approved, but subject to the consent of property owners as to the Thornapple Drive main inasmuch as it is not a dedicated street. Roll Call: Ayes - Maltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess, Cass & Endress Nays - None. Motion Carried 1 1.
