11~.inutes of the Regular, Meeting March 15, 195t~ The Council met in regular meeting on March 15, 195l~, at 8:00 P. M. at the Village, Hall, Mayor Donald Hodgson presiding. Roll Call: Present: Messrs Swanson, Oatess, Taylor, Whiting & Beard. Absent :'Mr. Endr.ess.. The Minutes of the regular meeting of February 15, 1954, were read to Council, It was noted by I~lfayor Hodgson that the Minutes of that meeting as. read stated that there was no Fire Report whereas in fact, there was nothing to report with respect to the Mayfield Village Volunteer Fire Department at that meeting. It was moved by Mr. Taylor and seconded by Mr. Oatess,that the Minutes be approved as read subject to the correction noted by Mayor Hodgson. Roll Ca11.: Ayes - Messrs Swanson,0atess,Taylor,Whiting & Beard, Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes approved subject to above correction. Mayor Hodgson asked for the reports of the Committees of Council. Mayor Iiodgson read a letter from the Mayfield Un3.on Cemetery, Edward V. Taylor,. Secretary, which acknowledged the. receipt of the check of the Village of Payfield in the amount of two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollars which was the amount of the contribution of the Village of Mayfield for the upkeep and expenses Qf the Cemetery. The following budget was submitted for the year 1951 for the operation of the Mayfield Un~.on Cemetery: _ _ Sexton ° s Annual Salary _ ~t~00.00 Gas, Oil & Repairs on Lawnmower 30.00 Miscellaneous Expenses 20.00 Water Main Ik~stall.ation on Wilson Mills Road 150.00 .0 Mra v~liiting reported that the. Safety and Service Committee met and considered the requirements as per the new revised list of specif ications of the State Fire.Marshall°s Office which should be complied with to cause the Village of Mayfield to-qualify for_the 8th rating in the insurance group. Due to these new specifications, the Mayfield Village Volunteer Fire Department Hoyt needs a total of One thousand one hundred and eightysnine 01189.00) dollars worth of equipment so,as to qualify.
