Minutes of the Regular Meeting April 19, 1954 The Council met in regular meeting on April 19, 19,rl~, at 8:00 P. M. at the Village Hall, Mayor Donald Hodgson presiding. Ro11 Call: Present ~ Messrs Swanson, Endress,Taylor,Whiting, Oatess & Beard.. - Absent ®-None. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 15, 1951, were read to Council. Mr. Whiting noted that the minutes stated that the compensation of Mr. Wieland was to be raised to a level corunensurate with that of Mr® Dixon, whereas, in fact, the objective was to raise Mr. Wieland's compensation by twenty five ( 25) dollars .per month. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that the Minutes be appx~ved as read subject 'to the correction noted by Mr. V~hiting. Roll Call: Ayes -- Messrs Swanson, Endress,Taylor,Whiting,0atess & Beard. Nays a None. Motion Carried Minutes approved subject to. correction noted. The Minutes of the Special Meeting of April 5, 1951.x, were read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Swanson and seconded by Mr. Oatess, that the Minutes be approved as reado -. Roll Call: Ayes Messrs Swanson'Endress.,Taylor,Wh~.ting,0atess & Beard. Nags - riTone. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Whiting, Chairman of the Safety and Service Committee, recommended that George ~Tielandes compensation be increased by $$25.00 per month, if the Village of Mayfield has sufficient funds to effectuate such an increase. Mr. Whiting also recommended that the increase be made retroactive to March 15, 1951.. Mr. Edelman stated that the compensation for the services of the Building Inspector and Service :Director could be varied by motion. It eras moved by 11~. Oa.tess and seconded by Mr. Endress that Mr. Wieland°s compensation for his services as Building Inspector and Service Director be increased by twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per month retroactive to 1~Tarch 15, 195..
