Minutes ,of the Regular v1eeting <br />.November 15' 1954 <br />- Thq Council of the ~i7lage of Mayfield met in regular meeting at <br />theVillage Ha].7., at 8:00 P. ~?® ~~.yor Hodgson presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present -Messrs Swanson,Taylor,~.ting,Beard & Oatess. <br />Absent - Mr. Endress. - <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of October 18, 195., were read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Beard, that the <br />minutes,be approved as read. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Taylor,Whiting,Beard & Oatess. <br />- Nays -None. - <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes approved <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting of November 1st, 195., were read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Swanson, seconded by Mr. Oates, that the <br />minutes of the special meeting be_approved as read. <br />Ro11 Ca11a Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Taylor, ~tYiiting, Beard & Oatess. <br />- Nays -None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Hodgson then asked for a report from officers and committees. <br />Mr. Edelman reported that, in order to complete the sa7,e ~'of bonds on S.~,O.M. <br />No. 2 this year, a special meeting should be held on November 29th for the <br />purpose of passing legislation pertaining to this sale. The date being, <br />cleared with all Councilmen, November 29th at 8:00 P. M. was scheduled for <br />the Special Meeting. <br />Mr. Edelman also reported that he had just received a notice of a <br />meeting to be held by the Budget Commission to apportion Local Government <br />Funds. He said that he usually attended these meetings and would find out <br />what was. in our budget and make some sort of a commotion at the meeting. <br />Mr. Swanson, reporting for the Zoning Commission, stated that he <br />had been approached by ~°. Negrelli,,representing the Jack March interests, <br />with regard to the Weisberg property. As they wisYied.to make use of this <br />property as a private club, the Zoning Commission had taken no action because <br />only two members were present. He inquired of Mr. Edelman i.f this would require <br />a change in the Zoning Ordinance. I'~r. Edelman reported that private clubs were <br />in a U-b class and a special permit would be requi:e~ed. <br />Mayor Hodgson then asked Mr. Swanson to call a public hearing and <br />suggested November 29th at 7:00 P. M. as Council was meeting at .8:00 P, M. and <br />could act on the matter., At-this point Mr. Negrelli came in and stated that he <br />represented Jaclt March and, that it was his idea to use the Weisberg Barn as a <br />1. <br />
