1 I~1,~,utes of the .Special I~~eeting December 22, 195l~ The Council of the village of Mayfield met in special meeting at the village Hall at 8:00 o°clock P. M. Mayor Hndress presiding. Roll Call: Present - Messrs S<~ranson,Strater,~3eard,Taylor & Oatess. Absent - Nor. TrJhi.ting. After a discussion of the bids for a newpolice car, and as Council eras under the impression they were accepting a bid for a four-door station wagon in approving the bid of the Euclid Ford Company, Nk°. Taylor introduced ordinance No. t~90 entitled, "An Ordinance to Repeal Ordinance No. !~85", wh~.ch Ordinance was read to Councils It was moved by Mr. Sz~anson, seconded by Mr. Strater, that the rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. _ Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Strater,Beard~Taylor ~ Oatess. _ _ Nays - None. .. ,. r7otion Carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Sr~anson, that Ordinance No. l~90 be approved and passed as read. Oatess then introduced Ordinance No. )a.91 entitled, "An Ordinance to Purchase a New Police Automobile and to Sell the Present Police Automobile to Heights..Njotor Sales Company'°, ~nich ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Ms'. Strater, that the rules of law-requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs .Swanson,Strater,Beard,Taylor ~ Oatess. _ Nays - None.
