1 N~inutes of Regular I°Ieeting January 17, 1955 ^11ze Council of the :Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the Village Ha7.1 at 8:00 o'.clock P. Il., Mayor Endress presiding. Roll Call: Present - T7essrs Stiaanson,Strater,Taylor,U~lziting, Beard ~ Oatess. The T'Tanutes, of the regular meeting of December 20, 195., were reacl to Council. It was moved by Mr. Oatess, seconded by Mr. Strater, that the minutes of the regular meeting be,approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes _ Messrs STranson,Strater,Taylor,Whiting,Beard & Oatess. . Aiays -None . Motion Carried Minutes Approved The l~iinutes of the Special I~ieeting of December 22, 1951, were read to Council. It was moved by ~Ir. Swanson, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that the Minutes of the Special Meet~.g be.approved as read. Ro11 Call: Ayes - Tlessrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Whiting, Beard & Oatess. . Nays -None. Motion carried r7ir!utes Approved Mayor Endres s then asked for nominations for the office of President of Council®. T~~A Beard was nominated by Mr. S~ranson, seconded by Mr. Taylor. Mr. Oatess was nominated by TVIr, Whiting, seconded by Mr. Strater, Roll Call: ~2r. Swanson for Nlr. Beard. Mr. Strater for T'~~. Oatess I"ir. Taylor for Mr. Beard. Mr. ~1YLiting for I'~r: Oatess Tyr. Beard and 11r. Oatess passing. Mayor Endress asked for another vote Roll Call: NJessrs S~ranson,Strater,Taylor,~~hiting & Oatess for Beard. . Tex. Beard not voting. Mr.~Beard Elected Mr. Edelman, a 1TOtary Public, then administered the Oath of Office to I`~r. Beard. _ T~ayor Endres then asked Council to approve the appointment of IZr. George Wieland as Street Commissioner, Road Foreman, Service Director and Building Inspector fox' the year 1955. ~ It .eras moved by Mr. Swanson, seconded by Mme.
