1 <br />T4inutes of the Regular Meeting <br />held October 17, 1949. <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in~ the Tovrp, Hall <br />in regular meeting on the 17th day of October, 1949, at 8:00 ogclock <br />P. M®, Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding® <br />Ro11 Call: Present -Messrs Hardman, Sloan, Cass and 33oiss <br />Absent - Messrs Franz and Zingleman. <br />The ~~inutes of the regular meeting held September 19, 1949, <br />were read to the Council. It was moved by T~tlr. Sloan, seconded by Mrs. <br />Cass, that the minutes be approved as readb <br />Roll Call: Ayes- Messrs Hardman, Sloan, Cass and Heiss. <br />- Nays -None®~. <br />Motion Carried <br />It4inutes Approved. <br />At this point, Ordinance No. 327 entitled: "An Ordinance <br />Amending Ordinance No. 150, the Zoning Ordinance of the_Village of Mayfield <br />by Placing Certain Property on the I~testerly side of SOM Center Road in a <br />Class U-4 Use District" was given its third reading. Mayor Swanson then <br />reported tha•~ the Mayfield Village Planning ~C Zoning Commission with <br />members Siploek, Sovrin, Swanson and Taylor voting (Mr. Franz being <br />absent), had concurred unanimously ix~ their decision__to vote against <br />this proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance® The Planning and Zoning <br />Conm~a.ssion stated further that they had arrived. at this decision after <br />long and serious consideration, after contact with other planning boards <br />and after weighing all aspects involved. <br />It was then moved by Iti2r. Slos;a, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that <br />Ordinance No. 327 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: byes -Messrs. Heiss. <br />_ Nays -Messrs Hardman, Sloan and Casso <br />Motion defeated <br />Ordinance Defeated. <br />Mayor Swanson then read a request from the Clevelatad Electric <br />Illuminating Comgany, requesting that the Fred L. Nelson Co. be granted <br />permission to trim seven trees on the East .side_ of Landon Road North of <br />Ridgebury.. Itf„~~as moved by I~r® Hardmaxz, seconded by Mrsa Cass, that this <br />permission be granted, subject t.o property ovm,ers° consent, <br />Roll Call: Ayos - P!iessrs Hardman,Sloan,Cass and Heiss. <br />Nays - None® <br />Motion Carried <br />Permission granted. <br />
