MII40TES OF THE' REGULAR MEETING Held June 19,_.1950 ,. The Council of_the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in regszlar meet~.ng on the 19th day of June, 1950, at 8:00 o'clock. P® M.®,Mayor Gustav Swanson presidirg® Roll Call: Present- Messrs Hardman,Scheuring,Taylor, Godfrey, Cass and Hall Absent -None. Minutes of the regular meeting held May 15, 1950, v~rere read to the Counci]_. It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Tyr. Scheuring, that the minutes be. approved as read, subject to the addition of the name of Mr® Scheuring to the committee investigating the purchase of the Leslie property, Roll Ca11: Ayes -Messrs Hardman, Scheurings Taylor, Godfrey, Cass and Hall. Nays -None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Ordinance Noe 323-P eras read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Scheuring, seconded by Mrs Ha11, that the ordinance b® passed as read. Roll Ca11: Ayes - TJlessrs Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor; Godfrey, Cass and Hallo Nays - Nonce T;~otion Carried Ordlinance Passed Mayor Swanson presented the Council a proposal by Mr. O'Neil for the conversion of the Town Ha11 furnace for use with gas. as a fu®1, _ap;d for thv installatio~z of a gas k~eater in the fire statioo,® Upon the suggestion of Mrs. Cass axed Mr. Hall, the Mayor referred this to the Building Coffinittoe for ,, further study.® It was moved by Mr® Hardman, seconded by Mr® Scheuring, that the Village purchase 1000 reload cartridges at a price of ~25e00 for use of the police department in practice shooting® Rol]. Call: Ayes - Tllessrs Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey, Cass and Hall Nays -None. l~lotion Carried Chief Dixon and Chief Porter each requested permission to have the telephone company install. outside bells at their homes, the same to be paid for by the Village® Chief Dixon also requested installation of a dial phone an,d of extension service to his home from. the Toucan Hall® It was moved by Mr® Hall, seconded by ~Zr. Godfrey, that permission to make these install- ations be grafted. 1.
