M., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding._ _ <br />Roll Call: Present -Messrs Hall, Hardma~a, Scheu~.ng, Taylor, <br />_ Godfrey. acad. Cassa <br />' Absent - Nono~ <br />Minutes of the regular meeting held August 21st, 1950, were <br />read to the Council, arid, subject to a correction as to the dato of a <br />letter from Mr. O~Nei11, the heating contractor, which date should read <br />July 22nd, 1950, ~t was moved by Mr0 Taylor, -seconded by Mrs. Cass, that <br />tho minttes be approvod as read <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes- Messrs Hall, Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor,. <br />Godfrey. and Cass <br />Trays ®_Non®. _ <br />. Motion carried. <br />Ma.nutes _Approved <br />The Clerk read to .the Council the bid submitted by Euclid <br />Ford Company,for_the furnishing of'_a new police car and the purchasing <br />of the present police car of the Vi1la,ge. <br />Mr. Godfrey introduced Ordinance No, 358 entitled: "An Ordinance <br />to Purchase a Ide~r Police Automobile and to Sell the Present Police Automobile", <br />tivhieh Ordinance was read to the council. It was moved by Mr. Goafroy, _ <br />seconded by flnrs+ Cass, that the rules of law requiring ata ordinatace to be <br />road on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes ~ Messrs Hall, Hardmax~,,Scheuring, Taylor, <br />_ Godfrey. and Cass. <br />Nays -None. <br />I'~otion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that <br />Ordinance Ido, 358 be passed as reado <br />Ro11 Ca11: Ayes -Messrs Hall, Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, <br />Godfrey_ and Cass. <br />Nays - None® <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />
