1 <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />July 21, 1952 <br />Mayor Swanson being away on vacation, Carl C. Scheuring, president <br />of Council, was sworn in as acting P~iayor by Mr. A. M. Edelman, a Notary <br />Public, before the meeting convened. <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 21st day of July at 8:00 P. M., Carl C.. Scheuring, <br />Acting P,~gayor, presiding. <br />Ro11 Call: Present - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass ~ Oatess <br />Absent _- None. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of June 16, 1952, were read <br />by the .Clerk. It was moved by Mx°. Sloa.n, senonded byP.s. Endress, that <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass and Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />_ Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Edelman advised that it was necessary to appoint someone in <br />the Village, if available, to inspect the Wilson Mills Road V`dater Main job. <br />It eras moved by Iti4r. Sloan, seconded by Dr. ~y~altz, that in the <br />P~~ayorts absence, Mr. Carl Scheuring be_authorized to appoint someone to <br />fill this position. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs 'u~Taltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass g Oatess. <br />. Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />I~ir. Scheuring, then stated that he had already spoken to PJir. William <br />Voigt, and that he had consented to take the job. Mr. Scheuring, therefore <br />officially appointed him as the Inspector. <br />It was moved by Dr. ~4"~altz, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that if the S.O.M. <br />Center Road Water Iviain Contract was ready for signatures before the It~a,yor's <br />return, Mr. Scheuring also be authorized to sign it. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass and Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />P,4otion Carried <br />
