Adinutes of the Regular Meeting <br />September 15, 1952 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 15th day of September,` 1952, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor <br />Gustav Swanson pres,idirag® <br />Ro71, Ca11: Present - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuringg Cass <br />" & Qatess <br />Absent -None. ~ ' <br />° The Minutes of the regular meeting of August 18, 1952, were read <br />by the Clerk. It was moved by Dr® Waltz, seconded by Mr. Endress, that the <br />minutes be .approved as. read. <br />Roll Call:. Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,Cass & Oatess <br />Nays - None " <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mro Oatess commented that due .to the fact that Mrs, Brown had a <br />notice in the Mes'senger,.about the registra~,tion~on Sept. lb, and it had been <br />given such wide publicity in the daily papers, the Civic Club did not send <br />out any special. notices to residents® , <br />Resolution Nos 208 entitled: rrA Resolution Designating National <br />City Bank of Cleveland, a Depository for the Village of Mayfield~r, and <br />Resolution No. 209 entitled: 'tA Resolution Authorizing Substitution of <br />Securities in Safe Keeping Account" were read and explained to Council by <br />Mr. Edelman. ` <br />Since each Resolution had been given its first reading, Mayor <br />Swanson called fo"r motions to suspend the rules. <br />It was moved by Mr® Sloan, seconded by Dr® Waltz, that the rules <br />of law requiring Resolution No. 208 to be read on three separate occasions <br />be suspended. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mz°se Cass, seconded by Mr® Oatess, that Resolution <br />No® 208 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes ® ~ifaltz, Sloan, Endress_, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess, <br />Nays - None. " <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />
