1 Minutes of the..Regular Meeting November 17, 1952 The Council of the pillage of Mayfield met at the Town Hal 1 in regular-meeting on the 17th day of November, 1952,, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding. Roll Ca11: ,Present - Messrs Waltz,Endress,Scheuri.ng,Cass & Oatess Absent - Mr. Sloan. The Minutes of the regular meeting of October 20, 1952, were read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the minutes be approved as xead. Roll Calls Ayes - Waltz, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved 1 The Minutes of the Special Meeting of November 6, 1952, were read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the minutes be approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved 1 Mx'. Edelman presented a petition to Council for an 8" Water Main to be constructed i.ra Worton Park Drive from Wilson Mills Road to the end of the dedicated portion of the Drive. The property owners will per the cost of this Main. It was agreed by Council that-the petition should be referred to Mr. Crallimore, our Engineer, for checking. The matters from the Special Meeting, November 6, 1952, were- reviewed in order. The question regarding additional Fire Equipment for the pillage was briefly discussed. It was moved by Dr, .Waltz, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, to refer this matter to the. Safety & Service Committee, and also the Finance Committee to investigate-thoroughly, and try to determine if enough people in the Village would benefit from the reduction in insurance rates to make the expensive purchase. of new-.fire equipment worth while.
