1 Minutes of the Regular Meeting December 15, 1952 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Tou~m Hall i.n regular meeting •on the 15th day of December, 1952, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding.. Roll Ca11: Present - Messrs Wa1tz9Sloan ~g,Cass & Oatess. Absent - Mr. Endress. The Minutes of the regular meeting of November 17, 1952, were read bynthe Clerk. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the minutes be.approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz., Sloan, Scheuring9 Cass & Oatess. Nays - None. Mo$ion Carried Minutes Approved lldayor Swanson read a communication from The East Ohio Gas Compan~yregarding the change in rates. These rates were contained in Ordinance No. 113 which was .passed by Couneil on September 15, 1952® Mr. Heckert of F. A. Pease Eagineering Co. was.recogn3.zed by Council. Mr. Heckert explained to Council that the extra charges appearing on two of the Water Fain billings were for repairing old breaks in the sewer line ( approx. 300 feet), and for changing sewer where it interfered with the water line. The matter of increased insurance for the.~new Service Truck was brought up. It was moved by Dr. Waltze seconded by Mr.~Sloan, that the insurance should be increased in accordance with the increased value of the new truck. Roll Call: Ayes - V~altz, Sloan' Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. ATays - None. D~otion Carried The Harvey Sign Company will. charge x.3.50 to letter the new truck in aluminum lettering. Council felt this should be done, and Mr. Wieland, the Service-Director, was authorized. to go ahead with the job. T4r® Edelman reported on the Mayoras Association Meeting held at the American Steel ~ Wire Plant: A tour was made of the plant, dinner was at the Carter Hotels and the meeting was very interesting.
