Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />January 19, 1953 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 19th day of January, 1953, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor <br />Gustav Swanson presiding. <br />Roll Ca11: Present- Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass & Oatess. <br />Absent - Mr. Scheuring. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of December 15, 1952, were read <br />by _the Clerk. It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the <br />Minutes be approved as read® ,. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Waltz=, Sloan, Endress, Cass and Oatess® <br />Nays - None. _ <br />Motion Passed <br />A.~inutes Approved <br />Dr. Siplock was recognized by Council. He presented the plans <br />.drawn by the Regional Planning Commission for the development of Garden Acres, <br />which lie back of the Arthur Dawson property on Wilson Mills Roado This <br />development is bounded by Wilson Mills Road, Lander Road, Ridgebury Boulevard <br />and Worton Park Drive. There is still a question on this development as to <br />the outlet to Wilson Mills Road® This outlet would come either at Shawls <br />or Minillo's property. Several of the property owners concerned were <br />present, and reported that there was still a question on the distribution of <br />the property and the price® <br />Council studied the plans presented by the Regional~Planning Commission <br />and by motion made by Mrs® Cass, seconded by Mr. Endress, the plans were <br />approved in principle. ,. <br />Ro]1 Call: Ayes.- Maltz, Sloan, Endress, .Cass and Oatess. <br />Nays - None® <br />Motion Carried <br />Dr. Siplock presented part of the IVlaster Plan of the Village which <br />has been made up by the Regional Planning Commission. <br />Mayor Swanson presented a sample Ordinance suggested by the Regional <br />Planning Commission. Ordinance No® x.26 entitled: 'rAn Ordinance Authorizing <br />the Planning Commission to Reserve Areas for Public Use and Prohibiting the <br />Improvement of such Areas for a Period of 90 Days after Application Therefor9" <br />was introduced by Dr® Waltz, and read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr® Sloan,, seconded by Mr. Endress, that the rules <br />of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended® <br />Roll Calls Ayes - tirlaltz, Sloan, Endress, Cass and Oatess. <br />Ata.ys - None o <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended 1. <br />
