r Minutes of Regular Meeting August 17, 1953 The Council of the Village of Mayfield, met in regular meeting on the 17th day of August, at 8:00 P. M. at the Village Hall, Mayor Gustav Swanson presidix~. ~ " Roll Ca11: Present - Dr. V'Taltz, Mr. Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,0atess. Absent - Mrs. Cass. " The Minutes of the regular meeting of July 20, 1953, were read by the Clerk. ' It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Dr: Waltz, that the minutes be approved as.read. Roll Ca11: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess. Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mayor Swanson read a letter from Central National Bank, and also one from National City Bank, together with. their respective financial statements, applying as depository of securities for the Village of Mayfield. The Central National Bank~has been the depository for Village funds fora number of years, and the Treasurer reported that they have always been very satisfactory. ' Mr. Sloan introduced Resolution No. 226 entitled: "A Resolution Designating Central National Bank of Cleveland Depository for the Village of Mayfield~~ which resolution was read to Council. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mr. Oatess, that the rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess. Nays - None. Motion Carried Rules Suppended It was moved by l~x°. Scheuring, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that Resolution No. 226 be passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, 0atess. Nays - None. _ Motion Carried Resolution Passed 1.
