Beebe <br />AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER 105 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINADTCES OI' MAYFIFLD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, PERTAZNING TO RE QUESTS FO'R PROnUCTION <br />OF DOCUMENTS, REPORTS ArdD RECORDS. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 149 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that <br />a.municipality make available to the public, upon request, certain <br />documents, reports and records; and <br />WHEREAS, because the Village has a limited administrative <br />staff the Mayor and Council have determined that a procedure should <br />be adopted for compliance with Cliapter 149 of the Ohio Revised Code; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCTL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. There is hereby enacted Chapter 105 of the <br />Codifie Or inances of 1"layfield Vi11age, Ohio, which shall read as <br />follows: <br />105.01 PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this Chapter is to establish a <br />reasonable and orderly procedure for compliance with <br />the provisions of Chapter 149 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code entitled "Documents, Reports and Records", as <br />it exists as of the date of passage hereof or as may <br />be amended from time to time. <br />105.02 DEFINITIONS <br />There is hereby adopted, by reference, all of <br />the definitions found in Section 149.43(A) of the <br />Ohio Revised Code as it exists as of the date of <br />passage hereof or as may be amended from time to time. <br />105.02 PROCEDURE <br />(a) Any person requesting that any document, <br />report or record be made available for inspection <br />pursuant to the terms, conditions and limitations of <br />Chapter 149 of the Ohio Revised Code shall first put <br />such request in writing and submit the same to the <br />office of the Mayor.
