? <br />. <br />Mi NUTES OF 1"HE MEETI NG 0F THE COUNCi L <br />THE CiT`f OF NORTH OLMSTED, ONIO <br />MARCH 19, 1963 - 8:11 P.M. <br />Present were Bruce MacDonald, President of Gouncil; Nenry Cas-ter, Ralph Christman, <br />James Leonard, Dewey Limpert; A. L. Mangani, Fracrcis J. 0'Neiii, Norman Van Zandt. <br />Also present were L. Barnes9 Service airector; George Schaef, Law Director; William <br />Gerlach, Finance Director; A. Kanareff, Engeneer; Louise Hall, Clerk. <br />Absent: Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; James T. Wilson, Safety Director, <br />Because Mr. MacDonald would be late?: Mr. Dewey Limpeo°t, President Pro tem presided. <br />The minutes of the meeting of March 5, 1963 were approved as vJritte7. <br />The Service Director advised that he had rec;e9ved a communicdtion from G.J. Kennedy <br />requesting information for special light.ing in the 5toneybrook Subdivision. <br />Mr. Christman suggested that the Service Diz°ector cantact Mr. Ross of Cleveland <br />Electric Iluminating Co. as they are maksng a study of special lighting for <br />Subdivisions. <br />The Service Director advised that he had receivEd a communication from several <br />residents of Ambour Drive concerning a bloc4cage in the drainage tile to the rear <br />of their lots. <br />Mr. Christman suggested that the Service Dibmec.tor contact these people and determine <br />what the trouble/6Ad attempt to rectify thi=.s setuation. <br />C The Service Directorrequested authority to i:ake bids for a generator and a trash pump <br />for use at the Lift Station; a vibrating pack roller wsth trailer; a garbage truck; <br />and two 22 ton dump trucks. <br />The City Engineer reported on the status of the ciedication of Block "D" in the Libby- <br />Lee Subdivision. Mr. C.O. Fischer, represeriting Libby-Lee, advised that he would <br />check further into this matter and well makE: areangements to proceed with the paving <br />of Block "D" as Council has r°equested. <br />The Engineer advised that the Beech Lane culvert is onlyadequate for a 3 year skorm <br />and that he recommends that thiG culvert should be supptied with a 60" pipe so that <br />it would be adequate for a 25 year storm. <br />The Service Director advised that the obtairiing of easements for the Burns, Porter area <br />is moving along satiisfactorily. <br />Mr. 0'Neill, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, reported on a meeting with the <br />Mayor and Finance Di rector conce,rni ng the Bias Company. <br />Mr. Van Zandt, Chairman of the Legislative irommittee, reported on a meeting with the <br />Home Builders Association in regard to Ordisiance No. 6, 173 and advised that there <br />wilt be further meetings to discuss this matter. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of the Finance Committee, advised that a committee meeting with <br />the Council as a whole will be held before April 2, 1963 to go aver the Appropriation <br />Ordinance after the Mayor returns it to the Committee. <br />?
