The minutes were then approved as corrected. <br />Mayor Christman announced that his annual report is almost ready for print- <br />ing, and equipment at City Hall will be used for the job. He would like <br />Couneil to go on record as to whether or not they would approve an expendi- <br />ture of from $500 to $700 for the paper, photographs and mailing of the <br />report to all residents in North Olmsted, This is at the request af the <br />Finance Director, even though it is under $1,000. The State Auditor, recommends <br />this procedure so that there will be no question as to the rigr.t of the <br />City to spend this money, _ <br />Mayor Christman also proclaimed the month of Mareh as Red Cross Month, <br />Safety-Service Director Limpert submitted various progress reports from <br />the Police Department, the Fire Department, and the Service Department, <br />Engineer Labas submitted his first progress status repor°t of t.he year, <br />Mrse Hodgins, Cheirman of the Safety, Health and Welfare Cammittee, advised <br />they had no meetings, but called attention to the annual report from the <br />Rocky River Municipal Courto <br />Mr, Foltz, Chafrman of the Legislative Committee, reported on their meeting <br />held on February 18th9 at which the matter of compulsory age retirement <br />ordinances was discussed as some length, <br />Mr. Gaster, Chairman, Public Service and Development Committee, reported on <br />their meeting of February 22nd, at which the Mayor, the Safety-Servic.e <br />Director and the City Fngineer were present, in edcfiition to t.he committee <br />members. The committee recommends that the original sidewalk easement <br />from West Park to North Park 5ubdivision No. 1 be meintained with a t.emporary <br />construction road allowed during the construction pericrd, <br />The committee also recommends aeceptance of the improvement plans of Louann <br />and Angela Drives in Terrace Estates, in accordance with t.he. Engi.neer's <br />recommendat ion , <br />The committee asked that legislation be put on first reading tonight with regard <br />to the Great Northern Boulevard improvement plans, on which the Engineer <br />has recommended acceptance. <br />The committee also recommends that the dedicatfon of Manning-Campbell #8 <br />??
