Bruce Kitchen, City Engineer Frank Dutton <br />and Cleric of Counci 1 Florence Holm. <br />The mi nutes of the Februao-y 6th meeti ng were approved as u°ead. <br />Maymr Chro stman sai d he has been i nformed by the FHA that propea-ti es whi ch <br />have been acquared by them are to be made available for sale preor to public <br />offereng to families displaced as a result of Governmental actoons, such as <br />Us-ban Renewal9 highway construction and Code Enforcement. A d°osplaced family <br />will have a ten day priority before such FHA property as offered for sale on <br />open nnarket, and City Hall will have a listing of these propertBes weekly. <br />Offers for property can be made to FHA through forms which FHA will furnesh us. <br />Mayor ChrAStman reported that work on new Library building is about four weeks <br />behind scheduled completion date of February 29th because heating and ventilat- <br />eng conta°actors have been held up. Hopefully the new completion date will be <br />ar°ound Apri 1 I st. <br />The Mayor also reported on meeting of School Board, Council and Recreation <br />Commession regarding the joint land use of recreational facilities. <br />FVenry Caster, chairman of Appointments, Industrial Development and Municipal <br />Development Committees, reported that the Industrial Development Committee <br />met on February 14th. The brochure on "North Olmsted, Ohio -The City with <br />a Future" is now available in limited quantities, and also that it will be <br />distrabuted throughout the state and country. Anothec- meeting is scheduled <br />for February 27th; at 8:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Caster then moved that we accept the name of Milan A. Brnicevic as Council's <br />representative to the Bretton Ridge Civic Association for the year of 1968. <br />Mr. Eian secocaded the moteon. "Veas" Caster, Eian9 Hodgons, Miller, West. Mr. <br />West asked Clerk send a letter to hlr. Brnicevic, and a copy to Mr. Wendell <br />Mathews9 Secretary-Treasurer of the Association. Mr. Caster also moved that <br />Mr. Walter Spaldong`s appointment as City Prosecutor be approved by Council, <br />seconded by hlrs. Hodgins, "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Miller, West. <br />The Municapal Development met February 13th and reviewed paving plans for <br />Southern9 Decker ared Midvale. City Engineer Dutton has recommended that <br />bu6ldang costs be updated. Mr. Caster referred to the February 6th menutes <br />regardang the Savako and Edwards' properties, and would loke to have Council <br />and Mrs. Hodg6ras wait uratil we have received our storm sewer report on this <br />and also about swale between Carla and Noreen. <br />Mr. Muller, chaorman of Legislative Committee, said this committee had met <br />February 8th and 13th. They are recommending legislation for a sick-leave <br />ocd°snarace as submitted to Law Director. The committee does not find it <br />feaseble to revose Ordinance No. 66-108, on junk cars9 per request of <br />Safety-Service Director Limpert's letter of January 16th. The committee <br />is recommending legoslation for the control of carnivals operating in <br />North Olmsted, and also legislation revising Ordinance 2466, raising fees <br />for street opening permits from $3.00 to $5.00. <br />
