MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE COUNCIL, <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Owl <br />Ordinance No. 69-131 <br />Ordi.nance No. 69-210 <br />February 5, 1970 <br />North Olmsted Community Cabin <br />8:00 p.m. <br />Present: President Francis J. 0'Neill, Councilmen Boehmer, Grady, <br />Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, West. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen, <br />Clerk of Council Nora Hill. <br />The purpose of this Public Hearing was to discuss Ordinances Nos. 69- <br />131 and 69-210. <br />President of Council 0'Neill called the meeting to order. He set several <br />ground rules: 1) Discussion 'pro' Ordinance; 2) Discussion 'con' Ordin- <br />ance; 3) Discussion limited to five minutes per person. <br />Ordinance No. 69-131. <br />An Ordinance amending Sections 1174.02, 1174.07, 1202.02 (Sub-Section <br />B), 1205.07 (Sub-Paragraph D), 1212.01 (Sub-Paragraph A), 1212.01 (Sub- <br />Paragraph B), 1213.01, 1213.01 (Sub-Paragraph A), 1213.02, 1213.03, <br />1213.04 and 1215.01 of Ordinance No. 62-33, enacted June 19, 1962, en- <br />titled "An Oxdinance dividing the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, into <br />districts for the purpose of regulation and restricting the location of <br />buildings and other structures, and of premises to be used for trade, <br />industry, residence or other specified uses: Regulating and limiting <br />the height of buildings and other structures, regulating the bulk and <br />location of buildings and other structures, the percentage of lot <br />occupancy, set-back building lines and area of yards, courts and other <br />open spaces: Providing for a method.of administration; For an Adminis- <br />trative Board: And for the imposition of penalties for violation and <br />repealing previous Ordinances inconsistent therewith." <br />No one spoke in favor of Ordinance No. 69-131. <br />Against No. 69-131: <br />Mr. Joseph Simmons, 29603 Lorain Road, questioned Page 2, 1174.07, <br />"Minimum Lot Area," minimum frontage 150', minimum lot area 25000 <br />square feet - What happens to existing lots on Lorain Road zoned <br />commercial? <br />Mr. Prokasy commented that existing platted lot can still be used as is, <br />but if a person had a 200' lot in commercial area, he would not be <br />allowed to subdivide lot. <br /> <br />. .. .. . . . . _.... .. . . . ..... ... ... . ..... . .
