O'Nei11, Councilmen Boehmer, Giesler, Limpert, <br />Prokasy, Beringer, Speeclling, West. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Chrf.sta~, Service Director Henry Caster, Law <br />Dir~actor J. Bruce Rite, FinaACe Director Williasi Gerlach, <br />City Engineer Michael 1Caxtean, Clerk of Council Nora Aill. <br />Meeting was called to order by President O'Neill at 8:00 P.M. <br />Mr. Prokasp aesehe a motion that the minutes of Council Meeting of May 3, 1972, <br />in connection with changes in the traffic co9atrol map and file, be aa>e~1ed <br />to include a Flasher at Coe School. Motion was seconded by ~#. r. <br />Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Lirepert, Prokasy, 3arr, l~peadling, <br />West. Motion carried. 'T`raffic light at Claque and McBeth is back in <br />Committee. After amendwant minutes stand approved as read. <br />Mayor Christatian reported the following: 1) proclaim May 20, 1472, as Armeel <br />Forces Dap in recognition of the armed forces service to Country, City sad <br />people as an opportunity to pay tribute and salute the arced forces of our <br />Nation. <br />Mrs. Beringer, Chairmann Environsental Control Committee, reported the <br />following: Committee met an May 9, 197$, with all members in atteetclancs:; <br />also Building Coaa~issioner Guatdy. Mr. Gandy was asked at~ut the delay in <br />air conditioning ordin~ce. Mr. Gandy staged the Law Director now is in <br />receipt of all waterial seed saws should be ready for next Caueeeil Meeting; <br />2) discussed updating incinerator ordinance. Mr. Gandy explained we do <br />following the National Building Code; however, there are two sections we <br />would like to add to the present ordinance. Will request legislation for <br />same; <br />3) Open burning was discussed. There is an ordinance on burning which will <br />be strictly enforced; <br />4) Also discussed passibility of having a demanstratioet of the Eidal shredder <br />in North Olmsted for the western suburbs. tJill look into this passibility. <br />Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee, reported <br />this Consaittee met and discussed and reviewed the following: <br />1) C-2 permit application for Guiseppas Italian Foods, Tnc., 4722 Great <br />Northern Blvd. Comallttee felt this permit should be granted; <br />2) Applications for C-2 pers3.ts for Consolidated Foods Corp., dba Lswson <br />Milk Company at 25766 Lorain Rd. and 29452 Lorain Rd. Committee felt <br />these permits should be granted; <br />3) D-5 permit for Richard L. 3to~rs dba Epicures Beverage Shop at 23239 <br />Lorain Rd. Committee felt application for penait should be turned doem <br />because of address and that he should re-apply for this at another time. <br />Mr. Giesler, Chairman Intro Governaretttal Relations & Legislation Coaatittee, <br />scheduled a meeting on May 22, 1972., $:15 p.m. to discuss Tbwaing Code seed <br />at this meeting representatives frost Complexicable will give a presentation <br />on cable T.V. tJould encourage all mewbesrs of Council to be present. <br />.._ ~~a~~~~~~ <br />
