Absent: Councilman Jsanes Prokasy Meeting was called to order by President O'Neill at 5:00 P.M. Minutes of Council Meeting of April 4th were approved as read. E.~_ !~_---. Mayor Christman reported the fo2lvarng: 1) Council is in receipt of a proposal to amend the constitution of NOACA and take away the 7 ctp tranegortation aspect fzoiaa this. Also there is a meeting on May 3, 1972, Conference of Local Gc>vernnts -- all are invited to attend d~!'ld mill be given an oppprtu3nity to see what Nf?ACA is doing; 2) in cooperation arith Environmental Control Coaa~ittee of Council, Mayor Christw~n proclaiaa~d April 22, 1972 "Earth Any" ar.d the week preceding Earth Day - "Keep North Olmsted Beautiful" week and reead proclamation. Mrs. Saringer, Chairasan Envfronms:ntai Control Co~.ttee, stated #iately following Council besting Mr. 'fom Jones, Chief of Tower of Ha!pk#ata Ai~cgor€, will present a short film on shat the F.A.A. is doing to cdndmbat noids+s agrate- ment and noise pollution. Mr. Boeh~r, Chairsaan Yublie S;fete, Health S Welfare dCoasittee, scheduled a Co~nittee meeting on April 25, 1972, 8:t?0 p.m., City Ftall.
