O`Neill, Councilmen Boehmer, Giesser, <br />Limpert, Prokaay, Saringer, Speedling, West. <br />Also gresent: Mayor Ralph Christman, Service Director Henry Caster, <br />Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen, Finance Director William Gerlach, <br />City Engineer Michael Karhan, Clerk of Council Nora Hill. <br />Meeting was called to order by President O'Neill at 8:00 p.m. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of February 1st were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported the following: 1) City has been sued by Mr. Biskiad <br />in connection with the denial of approval of his plan for the B.B.F. <br />restaurant; (2~ I.R.S. has peratitted City to increase the fare of bus <br />tickets back to the old rate which was in effect prior to "Suer Special°' <br />fare. There will be no sales on February 16th and new price c~~ill ga into. <br />effect on February 17th. <br />Mr. Limpert, Chaire~an Finance Committee, stated there will be a meeting <br />on February 19, 1972, 10:30 a.m., City Ha11. <br />Mr. tdest, Chairman Buildin~t, Zoning ~ Develap~nt Committee and Long Range <br />Planning Committee, reported that the Building, Zoning ~ Development <br />Committee reviewed request of Mrs. Spontelli to xe~cone h~:x propsrtp located <br />at 25054 Lorain Road frees "mixed use" back to original toning of "retail" <br />and legislation far same will be requested. Mr. West called for a Buildup, <br />Zoning & Development Committee meeting on February 28, 1972, 8;15 p.m., C#~r <br />Hall. <br />Mr. Prokasq, Chairman Streets d Drainage Committee and Recreation, Public <br />Parks 6 Building Committee reported the following: 1} matter brought to <br />Streets & Drainage Cosm<i.ttee by Mr. Delmar Ernest hoe been res+aarched and <br />will have to consult with Committee members before same can be resolved; <br />2) Parks & Recreation Ordinance acs second reading tonight and will consult <br />further on this c•~ith Finance Committee. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 7I-96 introduced by ?4r. Jest was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorisin~q the Mayor to enter into s contract for a study <br />and preparation of plena and specifications for a garage in the North <br />Olmsted Land Fill area of Columbia Road in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. <br />West moved for adoption of Resolution, seconded by Mr. Boehs~er. Affittive <br />vote Baehmer, Giesser, Limpert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, rdest. Nation <br />carried. <br />__ Ordinance !Vo. 72-7 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was givau its third reading. <br />An Ordinance detereini~tg to proceed Frith the conetructiou of side~ralks <br />at certain locations on West Park Drive, North Park Drive aaut Root Read. <br />Mr. Soehmer moved for adoption of Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Giesser. <br />Affirmative vote Boehwer, Giesser, Lirnpert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, <br />West.
