Mr. Tubbs i~d3eated <br />caned afford to spend the additional tiara it takes on Plsnaiug Coltrttrts~sitmt. <br />Therefore, am sub~rlating name of Mr. William Tubbs to Sward of ing Appeals <br />to fill unexpired term of l~r. Williasr Schaff, term e4ding 12/31175; <br />2)Mr. Bdcvard Byers has resigned fxosr Planning Commission becawre he is mt~viag <br />to Worth Carolina. This leaves two• vacancies on Planning Cotitm far which <br />Mayor has no replacements at this time; <br />3)Co~rcil in receipt of letter frogs Hr. Robert Tae~Ieman, of R.t.T.A. rec ing <br />changes in our local tae ordinance. All comities involved have to agree to <br />these changes. Mr. Tes4le~raer would Iike Council's feeling on this so that if <br />everyone is in agreement the legislation can be pregar~t to change it; <br />4) received word from Mr. Roster, who is doing recreation stud~+, that he will <br />have final study for presentation to Council on October tad; <br />5) received letter from tbstt~erford Shumaker, C1erklTreasurer avid Business r <br />of Cugahoga County Public Library, enclosing certificate of ixrs for c~erage <br />at branch library; also atatittg appreciation to citizens of North Olmsted for <br />their effort in groviding a librarq building, and their support, etc. <br />Service Director Caster reported following: 1) ret;uestsd Streets & Aratinags <br />tbsmrittee to place on agenda of their next meeting the consideration of legislation <br />to proceed with bids for the sasritarp sewer repairs at east end of twon to be set <br />up in sections -will take bids and pick and choose as the manias are availat~le. <br />Mrs. Beringer, Chairman Enviro~rental Control Committee, reported folloeing: <br />I) Attended a meeting on August 1st at the Washington Park Horticulture t~dueatioa <br />Center in he~aburg Heights, at which time a method of cagpoatiag - a unique leaf <br />reeyciing process was e~i,simed.
