O'Neill, Councilmen Giessen, Goggin, Li~ert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilaa~oaky. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director Michaael Gateau, Service <br />Director Henry Caster, Asst. City Engineer David McDermott, Clerk <br />of Council Nora Hill. <br />Meeting was called to order by President O'Neill at 8:00 P.M. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of May 21, 1974, were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported following: 1) recoaaends appointment of Mr. Willies <br />Coming to the Civil Service Cos~arssion to replace Mr. John Maisch far farm <br />remaining through 12/31/77 - Couraci2 in receipt of resuwe of Mr. Canning; <br />2) received communication froren County Coemi;ssioners advising that tt~e contract <br />between the Cite of North Olmsted and the 1~oard of County Co~tissiaeiers with <br />respect to new sewer rates for the users in Olmsted Township hear been adopted <br />by the Board of County Corrmissionera; <br />3) wrote letter r~vested to the O]assted Township Zoning Board ragardiag the <br />approval of any off-site i~rprovaments in connection with area proposed !or <br />development on old Homelinks golf parcel. Council in receipt of copy of letter. <br />Service Director Caster reported following: 1) additional odor control equipment <br />should be installed at Treat~tt Plant the end of June. Were informed of this <br />today from a representative of cocssultants. This will be at no additional cost <br />to the City for this installation; <br />2) will have an estimate of cost of acoustical control conditions to Council <br />Chambers; also estimate for air coeditioning <br />3) City owned pxaperty at Barton & Bradley Rds. has been cleared of abandoned <br />items; <br />4) condition of leaf mulch piles is net progressing as estimated. Will still <br />require additional time for ca~lete d sition. There is partial dewpasi- <br />tioa and people have been taking these. Any+ane map examine and take them if they <br />want it. WiI1 continue to treat piles until completely deeosed. <br />Asst. City Engineer McDermott reported following: 1) Surrey Drive drainage <br />problem -the license agreements which replaced the temporary easements have <br />been written and semi to the affected property owners; <br />2) McKenzie Rd. -Forest Ridge Drive problem -there was a pagtarent co~itm~t <br />agreement required which has bean written to the benefited rasicb~ts. As soon <br />as received back will be able to prepare work schedule of project. Nava copies <br />of these instruments for view. <br />Law Director Gateau reported fallowing: 1) County Board of Raevision has ixt the <br />past established a policy of notifying the City and School Board of varl+aws <br />municipalities when someone in their jurisdiction is requesting a rston in <br />assessed valuation of their property. This is first one Law Director h+u ce-1'gd <br />and concerns property on corset of Columbia Rd. -namely Rajas Corpozate- A$artmeset <br />Site, Has been in contact with the School Board and ai11 macs it a jo#pt effort <br />and will be present at the hearing on June 18th before the Board of Revision with <br />
