~t.-. MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JAI~IUARY 2, 1974 Present: President Francis J. O'Neill, Councilmen Giesser, Goggin, Limpert, Saringer, Sharpe, [Jest, [Jilamosky. Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director William Gerlach, Service Director Henry Caster, City Engineer Michael Karhan, Clerk of Council Nora Hill. ;feting was called to order by Freaident O'Neill at 8:00 P.i~q. Minutes of Council Meeting of December l8, 1973, were approved as read. Mayor Christman reported following: have submitted for Council approval the following names to Boards and Commissions: 1) reappointment of Mr. Irwin Seidel to Board of Building Cn~e Appeals for term expiring 12/31/78; 2) Mr. Donald Ledvina to Board of Zoning Appeals for term expiring 12/31/78; 3) Mr. Sohn J. Grady to Civil Service Commission for term expiring 12/31/79; 4) Mrs. Muriel Eian to Planning Commission for term expiring 12/31/75 (replace- ment for Mr, Edward Byers); 5) Mr. James Prokasy to Planning Commission for term expiring 12/31/78; 6) I4r. Mark Addy to Recreation Commission for term expiring 12/31/75 (replace- ment of Mr. Fred Lima). Law Director Michael Gareau announced his following appointments: Mr. David J. Hessler as Civil Assistant, 2) Mr. l~nald P. Albenze as Criminal Assistant who will act as Prosecutor. Mr. Gareau recognized Mr. Albenze in audience, and he was introduced to Council and Administration. President O'Neill announced that tonight he had given to council Members the Committees on which they will serve and the Chairmen of respective Committees. Mrs. Sharpe, Chairman Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee, scheduled a Committee Meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 1974, 7:00 P.M., City Hall. Mr. Giesler, Chairman Building, Zoning & Development Committee and Recreation, Public Parks & Building Committee, reported following: Mr. West had meeting last year to discuss the [Jest Side Federal now known as Cardinal Savings & Loan Assn. and representative had requested to talk to Committee. Committee also discussed the water problem for Tudor Manor Apartments and Mr. Moss will be re- quested to talk to Committee. The Building, Zoning & Devel Committee will meet on Wednesday, January 9, 1974, 7:00 P.M. to review items wi.~ representatives. Mr. Lampert, Chairman Finance Committee, reported Committee reviewed appxopriations and legislation for same is on agenda. Requested legislation be passed under suspension of rule. Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Intro Governmental Relations & Legislation Committee, scheduled a Legislation Committee meeting on January 7, 1974, 7:30 P.M., City Hall. Mr. West, Chairman Transportation Committee, scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting on January 8, 1974, 8:15 P.M., City Hall.
