r <br />MINUTES OF THE MBETING OF TEE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 7, 1975 <br />Present: President Francis J. O'Neill, Councilmen Giessen, Goggin, Limpert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Las Director Michael Gateau, Finaxece <br />Director Wil1e Gerlach, Service Director Henry meter, Safety <br />Director Raymaxed Carman, City Bngixeeer J, Hayward Childs, Clark <br />of Council Nora HiII. <br />Meeting was called to order by Presid~t O'l~eill at 8:00 P.H. President O'Neill <br />wished everyone a Happy New Year and caxraended Members of Council for the <br />excellent fob performed in 1174. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of December 17, 1974 were appxoved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported following: 1) has submitted to Council the fallawiAg <br />names raquestixeg their approval for following positiay~ts: Mr. Bernard Schulz <br />for reappoiatmeat to the Board of Swtlding Cade App+sa3s; Mr. Donald Ba~.ll for <br />reappointment to the Board of 2oxeing Appeals; Mr. Clarke Olson for appayinta~xet <br />to the Board of Zoning Appeals; Mr. Jcdt~n Rcy~yerts far reappoixetneaxet to the <br />Planning Cosr~rissian; and Mx. William Irreeh for appcyintmant to the Planning <br />Commission. It will be up to the <br />suburban areas to raconaeexed these srs to this Board and mould tike to request <br />any ideas you may have foes xe~omi~e+~es to the Hoard to be submitted so that they can <br />be submitted to tht Mayors Assocatioxe who have agreement with the County for the <br />selection of these suburban m+e~yers. <br />City Exegineer Childs reported fcilawing: 1) a new contract hays been written for <br />repair of sanitary sewel"8 -- this conteact is now being a~wear~ised foot bids with <br />a bid opening date og Ja~euaxy 15th. TIMs contract calls for repair of 25 breaks <br />in the sact~.taxy sewers on '~inc~et Drive and a>a 3uutry Dries; <br />2) Coatract has been written for fabria~aticn of the pollutioxe ak+aiwet burner <br />for Wastewater Treatxaent Piaat - th~.s conteact is also being ~i~e^rteed for bid <br />and scheduled bid openixeg date is January 24th. <br />Law Director Michael Gateau reported following: 1) pursuant to ordinance passed <br />last 6ouncil Meeting, Lam Ditectar Gae~eau and the Police t mat with the <br />Walter Drone Company and formulated what to keep in the new Traffic 4~ia that <br />will be amended. Mr. Gateau stated whexe the new Cede is recefve~d there are two <br />:~ things that were added that w$re discussed in Coyanittee. On+e is the prohibition <br />
