Iiovard Childs, Clerk of Council Dora Hill. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Lippert at 8:00 P.M. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of 3une 1, 1976, were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported: 1) the new scheduling for the North Olsstad Bus Line <br />went into effect Sunday, Jug 13th, and cra l~c-nday, June 14th, it was new aaci <br />created quite a bit of confusion with sere of the riders. Mayor ss~laimad the <br />new scheduling. This is a new systas for our riders and the Mayor hopes the <br />people do have the patience to give it a tty and sae how it works out. efully <br />it will provide a great deal more service to all of the people of the City. <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked Mayor Chriatmsn reHsrrling the new scheduling if this falls <br />within the concept of the 4~nt that we have with RTA. Mayor stated he <br />thinks it does -the Agreawmt bamically states that we shall not decraa~ overall <br />service which he does not feel that it fs doing. Feels that the overall benefits <br />to the North Olmsted bus riders will become quite apparent. <br />City Bngineer Childs reported: 1) sanitary sewer repair contract ~t5 was <br />advertised 1Set week and again this wad. and the scheduled bid apaaiag date <br />is June 25, 1976; <br />2) contract foi $utterntiit Atd Rd. resurfacing was advertised during the same <br />time period a~ad scbedu'lad ~-~d opar~ing i~r JuAt 24, 1976. <br />Law Director Gareau reported: 1) anotfie~ ia~uit was filed this past week <br />regarding our Zoning Cods in the eras of Kennedy ~#.d~~s~id'. red Coluabia &i. <br />dir. Standen filed an action askimg that our Zoning Code be dart:red tmcomstitu- <br />tional as it apples with respect to that parcel indicating that it is ~t suitable <br />for single family but it is more suitable for multi-family; and will be filing <br />an answer to that action. <br />Mrs. Sarii-ger, Chairolap Streets 6 ~DArainage Committee, reported that after the <br />Bqualization Board ~~etng on June 7th, a m~esting of the Streets & Hra~e <br />Committee was held in ~reg~ds:. ~o resurfacing the north south y 1Eidge Rd. <br />It was felt that the road wa~ra~t that bad that it could not be pate. It <br />was also felt it was rather fnolish to ~lq any permaaeat resurfacing right new <br />because of the construction cf I-4~0 it ~~a be getting a lot of trunk traffic; <br />2) discussed the flooding pr4hl+ess-that Forest Ridge Subdivision experienced <br />during the last heavy rain.
