Also present: Mayor Ralph f~ristman, Law Director Michael Garesu, Finance Director W3111am Gerlach., Service Director Henry Caster, City Bnginaer J. Iiovard Childs, Clerk of Council Dora Hill. Meeting was called to order by President Lippert at 8:00 P.M. Minutes of Council Meeting of 3une 1, 1976, were approved as read. Mayor Christman reported: 1) the new scheduling for the North Olsstad Bus Line went into effect Sunday, Jug 13th, and cra l~c-nday, June 14th, it was new aaci created quite a bit of confusion with sere of the riders. Mayor ss~laimad the new scheduling. This is a new systas for our riders and the Mayor hopes the people do have the patience to give it a tty and sae how it works out. efully it will provide a great deal more service to all of the people of the City. Mr. Wilamosky asked Mayor Chriatmsn reHsrrling the new scheduling if this falls within the concept of the 4~nt that we have with RTA. Mayor stated he thinks it does -the Agreawmt bamically states that we shall not decraa~ overall service which he does not feel that it fs doing. Feels that the overall benefits to the North Olmsted bus riders will become quite apparent. Law Director Gareau reported: 1) anotfie~ ia~uit was filed this past week regarding our Zoning Cods in the eras of Kennedy ~#.d~~s~id'. red Coluabia &i. dir. Standen filed an action askimg that our Zoning Code be dart:red tmcomstitu- tional as it apples with respect to that parcel indicating that it is ~t suitable for single family but it is more suitable for multi-family; and will be filing an answer to that action. Mrs. Sarii-ger, Chairolap Streets 6 ~DArainage Committee, reported that after the Bqualization Board ~~etng on June 7th, a m~esting of the Streets & Hra~e Committee was held in ~reg~ds:. ~o resurfacing the north south y 1Eidge Rd. It was felt that the road wa~ra~t that bad that it could not be pate. It was also felt it was rather fnolish to ~lq any permaaeat resurfacing right new because of the construction cf I-4~0 it ~~a be getting a lot of trunk traffic; 2) discussed the flooding pr4hl+ess-that Forest Ridge Subdivision experienced during the last heavy rain.
