Howard <br />Childs, Clerk of Co~cil Nora Hill. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Limpert at 8:00 P.M. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of May 17, 1977, were approved as read; Minutes of <br />Special Council Meeting of May 23, 1977, were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported: 1) have received notice from Mayor Roman of Westlake <br />in regard to the Weat€hore Health Center - hospital proposal. He is notifying <br />all of the neighboring c hies that there will be a public hearing an Monday, <br />June 13, 1977, at Wagner's Country Inn, 8:00 P.M. Purpose is to try to move this <br />proposal off dead center and the people from WestShore Health Center and people <br />from Metropolitan Health Flanrtting Corporation will be there; <br />2) Oxd. No. 77-116 on agenda tonight which permits the City of Cleveland to bill <br />the next sewer charge for the City of North Olmsted which will be cowing up very <br />shortly; and request Council's consideration of passage on emergency; <br />3) read following legal notice from Finance Director Gerlach in his absence: <br />"Notice is hereby given Chat the Proposed Use Hearing on the Federal Revanu~ <br />Sharing Fuads for the year 1978 will be held in the Council Chambers of the City <br />of North Olmsted on the 21st day of June, 1977, at 8:00 P.M. local time. The <br />general public may subaat written and oral comments at this time." This ad appeared <br />in The Cleveland Plain Dealer today; <br />4) received resignation of Mr. D!on Hamill from the Board of Zoning Appeals - do not <br />have a repl t yet; <br />5) would like to request actives of Council one way or another on appvint~nt of <br />Mr. Wi111am Fran to the Board of Zoning Appeals; <br />6) am rec din$ Mr. Harr9 Malone to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Jahn Grady <br />whose term expires 12/31179 on the Civil Service Commission; <br />7) am rec ing Mr. Fat Fatton to the Landmarks Commission for term expiring <br />12/31/77. <br />City Engineer Childs reported: 1) Ord. No. 77-76 which is on third reading tonight <br />regarding Mill Rd. improvements: as soon as that is in effect we will be ready <br />to finalise the contract for the tree removal along Mill Rd. Rave the bids and <br />the low bidder is Western Tree Service. Hope to get that staxted perhaps as soon <br />as next week; <br />2) regarding sidewalk repair program: are typing up the contract for sidewalk <br />repair; expect to be advertising for bids during the next two weeks aid should <br />have bid openings aroused July lest - no later than the first week in July. Approxi- <br />mately 302 of the people who received notices have had the repairs made; almost all <br />of the people on that regain grogram have only one or two sections of sidewalk to <br />be repaired. <br />Safety Director Roharik reported: 1) the No Right Turn On Red sign has been placed <br />in position at Great Northern Blvd. and Lorain Rd.
