Limpert, Cauncilman Saringer. <br />President Pro Tem Boehmer invited members of the audience to jain Membexs of Council <br />in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Preeident Pro Tem Boehner announced that President Limpert and Councilman Sariager <br />are out of towm. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of April 3, 1979, were approved. <br />ILtnutes of Speci$1 Council Meeting of Apri2 9, 1979, were approved. <br />President Pro Tem Boehmer reported that several pieees of legislation have been ad+ded <br />to the ageada: 1) Ordinance No. 77-94, an nzdinanca to grovide for the iasuance 4f <br />notes in anticipaticm of the levq of speeial assessments and in anticipaCion of the <br />issuance of honds to pay the proparty owners' portion of the cost of i.mpresving Mill <br />Road by conatructing a concreCe s3dewalk, and declaring an emergency, which is on <br />third readiag. This ordinance has been superceded by Ordinance No. 79-61, which ia <br />on first reading tonight. <br />2) Ordinance iio. 79-50, an ordi.nance transferring appropriations for current expenses <br />and other expeaditures for the Citq of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending <br />December 31, 1979, is on first reattimg. <br />3) Ordinance No. 79»61, wllich supercedes Ordinanae No. 77-94, is on first readiag. <br />4) Resolutioa No. 79-62, a resolu°Cion authoriaing and directing the Mayor to make <br />applicatioa to tba Cuqahaga Couctty Hcrard of Cormeissioners for spgroval to uae Cu3?ahoga. <br />county rsotor vehicie $5.00 Lf.cense Tax Funds for participation with the County in the <br />improvement of Hradley Road froan the aest county line to the North Olmoted north <br />corporatiore liaa for snrface treatiag, and declsring an emergencp, is on first reading. <br />5) Ordinance No. 79-63, an Ordinsnce of Consent eaacted bq the City of North 41msted, <br />Cuyahoga Covnty, tlbio, in the matter of the hereiaafter described improvement en"r <br />the supervision of the County of Cugahoga and the Department of Transpcrtatian, State <br />of Ohio, is on first reading. <br />Mayor Swietyniowski reported: 1) Expressed appreciation to the SaEety Committee far <br />approviag a concept of haviag a Coomiri3ty Patrol Pxogsam which will utilize acEditional <br />auxiliary police attd palice cars on the road. This is salelq for the developmont <br />areas so that dutrfng the Sumser mrmths there will be more visible patrol cars in the <br />residentiai area;e. <br />2) With re$ard ta Resolutian No. 79-62, the reason it was added to the agenda late <br />is because just this marnin$ ttt8 County 8ngineer iaformed the Administraticm that <br />improvements Vi11 be made on sevoacal roads thraughout the counCy an;d Bradley Rosd is <br />one of th+em. This is the full extent of Bradley Road, fram Lake Road ali the way <br />through to the county line. It 3s a finer aggregate of tar aad chip whieh is to last <br />approximately three years at whic? time Bradiey Road will be rehabiZitatsd.
