CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED • <br />ORDINANCE NO. 65--g.&_ <br />BY <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDRNG ORDINANCE NO. 61-143 <br />PASSED AUGUST 3, 1961, AND INCORP4RATED IN <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PARTICULARLY TITLE <br />THREE, CHAPTER 913, SECTION 913 . 04, ENTITI.ED, <br />"SEWER CONNECTION REQUIRED" AND DECLAMNG <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, sir?ce the enactment of Ordinance No. 61.143 <br />Council has qiven further considerations to the requirements of awners of <br />any house, building, or property ofed for human occupancy, employment, <br />recreation, or other purpose to make connection to the sanitaYy sewer system, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the sanitary sewer <br />to which connection is to be made is to be within 250 feet of a property line <br />of such house, building or other property used for human occupancy and <br />abutting on any other street, alley, or right of way within the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Title Three, Chapter 913,Section 913.04 <br />presently reading as follows: <br />, .? . <br />? <br />1913.04 SEWER CONNECTION REQtTIRED• <br />Connection with the sewer is required by the owner of any <br />- house, building or propertY situated within the City which <br />is used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or <br />other purposes and which is abutting on any street, alley <br />or right of way in which there is now or may in the future <br />have located therein a sanitary sewer, which is part of the <br />sanitary spweraqe system of the City. The owner, at his <br />expense, shall insta2l sanitaty sewerage facilities therein <br />and connect such facilities directly with the sanitary <br />sewer forming a part of the seweraqe system of the City. <br />Such connection by the owner of any such house, buildinq <br />or property shall be in accordance with the provisions of <br />this chapter and shall be made withln six months after <br />receivinq official notice from the City to make connection <br />ito thesanitaiy sewerage system of the City provided that <br />thesanitary sewer to which connection is to be made is <br />within 150 feet of a property line of such house, buildinq <br />or other property used for human occupancy and abuttinq <br />on any street, alley or right of way within the City. <br />Notice to make connection may be either by certified <br />mail or by residential service.
