5. ~Public Wading ~oo1" <br /> <br />An artificial body of water, with a controlled water <br />ply, not exceeding 24 inches in depth and used collective- <br />ly by numbers of persons for wading. <br /> <br />6. "Family l'lading Pool" <br /> <br />An arti£icial body of water, with a controlled tmter sup- <br />ply~ not exceeding 15 inches in depth 6r 200 square feet <br />in surface area and used collectively by numbers of per- <br />sons for wading, and used or intended to be used solely <br />by the owner or lessee thereof and his family and by <br />friends invited to use it without payment of any fee. <br />Such family wading pools are further defined as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Portable l'lading Pool. A portable wading pool is <br />hereby defined as a container which is designed or <br />used for wading purposes and which may be dismantled, <br />stored, or moved from one place to another. <br /> <br />(b) Permanenet ?fading Pool. A permanent wading pool <br />is hereby defined as a container which is designed <br />or used for wading purposes, built.either upon or <br />below the level of the ground, which is not designed <br />or intended to be readily dismantled, stored, or <br />moved from one place to another. <br /> <br />329.113 Construction Permit and Approval. <br /> <br />Before work is c~,menced on the construction o£ a publ$c <br />swimming pool, family pool, public wading pool, or on <br />any alteration, addition, remodeling or other improve- <br />ment thereto, an application £or permit to construct and <br />the plans and specifications and pertinent explanatory <br />data hereinafter required shall be submitted to the Com- <br />missioner of Building Inspection fo~ approval, and no <br />part of the work shall be commenced until the Comm, is- <br />sioner of Health and Commissioner of Building Inspection <br />have evidenced their approval by a suitable endorsement <br />upon such plans and specifications, and have granted a <br />permit therefor. <br /> <br />329.114 Fees. <br /> <br />(a) Permits. Fee for the permit to construct a swimming <br />pool shall be at the rate of Two Dollars ($2.00) per <br />one hundred (!00) square feet, or fraction thereof, of <br />the ground area occupied by the pool structure, with a <br />minimum fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00). Such fee is in ad- <br />dition to permit fees appllcable to other structures <br />which may be incidental to the pool, or plumbing, sewer- <br />lng, or wiring connections therewith. <br /> <br />(b) License. <br /> <br />(1) The fee for a license to conduct, operat~ and <br />maintain a public swimming pool shall be Twenty-Pive <br />Dollars ($25.00). <br /> <br />(2) The fee for a license to conduct~ operate and <br />maintain a family swir~lin3 pool shall be Ten Dollars <br />($10.00). <br /> <br /> <br />
