-3- <br /> <br />(d) The preliminary profiles shall show the existing <br />elevati~:? on the center line and at the side lines of <br />the street~ at intervals of fifty feet (59') and at <br />such intermediate points where there is a perceptible <br />break in ~rade. A proposed center line profile wi~ch <br />vertical curves at each grade change shall be shown. <br /> <br />.Section 1701.05 <br /> <br />The procedure <br />shall be: <br /> <br />Procedure for Approval <br /> <br />for approval of tl~e preliminary plan <br /> <br />(a) The owner shall first submit nine (9) copies of <br />the preliminary plan and profiles to the Planning <br />Director who will check the plan against ail require- <br />ments listed in this Chapter 17. <br /> <br />(b) The Planning Director will then present such <br />preliminary plan and profiles, together with his <br />conlments and recommendations to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />(c) The Planning Commission shall set a date at which <br />the plan is to be considered and shall notify the owner <br />and all abutting property owners of the date and place <br />of such meeting. <br /> <br />(d) The Planning Commission shall, by record vote, <br />determine to approve or disapprove the plan as submitted <br />or as modified to meet its recommendations. <br /> <br />(e) If the vote of the Commission is to approve the <br />preliminary plan, the owner may proceed with the final <br />plat which shall include all modifications as suggested <br />by the Commission. If the vote of ~e Commission is to <br />disapprove the preliminary plan, the COmmission's <br />action shall be final unless the owner appeals such <br />decision to Council within ten (10) days after the <br />Commission's decision. Upon such appeal, Council may <br />approve such preliminary plan by a two-thirds vote of <br />all the members elected to Council. <br /> <br />(f) Upon approval of the preliminary plan, the owner <br />may proceed with the final plat which shall include all <br />modifications as recommended by the Con~isssion, or in <br />the event of appeal, by the Council. <br /> <br />(g) The owner shall have the privilege of submitting <br />the preliminary plan and profiles at the same time <br />that he s'ubmits the final plat to the Commission. <br /> <br />Section 1701.06 Requirements of Final Plat <br /> <br />(a) A final plat shall be made by a registered, prof- <br />essional surveyor who shall affix his signature and <br />seal to the usual certificate stating the scale of the <br />plat, the correctness of his survey 0nd calculations <br />and permanent monuments shall be set at ~.oints so <br />indicated.
