- 2 <br /> <br />(c) Any violation of this Chapter. <br /> <br />(d) Conviction of any crime or misdemeanor involving moral <br /> turpitude, violence or deceit.~ <br /> <br />Conducting the business of peddling in an unlawful manner <br />or in such a manner as to constitute a menace to the health, <br />safety or general welfare of the public. <br /> <br />741.09 APPEAL. <br /> <br />In the event the application for a license is not approved or in the <br />event any license issued under this Chapter is revoked, the applicant <br />shall be notified of the .refusal or revocation i.n writing and such <br />notice shall be sent by certified mail to the applicant at the address <br />of the applicant, as set forth in the applicat-lon for a permit. The <br />applicant, shall have ten (10) days after receipt of such notice to appeal <br />such refusal or revocation. Such appeal shall be perfected by filing <br />a written notice of the appeal with the Director of Public Safety. <br />Thereupon, the applicant shall have not less than ten (10) days notice <br />of the date and the place of the hearing. The appeal shall be heard by <br />the Board Of Zoning Appeals, which Board shall have the power after <br />such hearing to confirm the refusal or revocation or order the permit <br />to be issued. The Board shall cause notice of their decision to be <br />sent by certified mail to the applicant at the address of the applicant, <br />as set forth in the application for permit within thirty (30) days of <br />the date of the hearing. <br /> <br />Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor, otherwise it shall take effect .and be in force from and after <br />the earl Jest period al lowed by law.~ ......
