(c) When a complaint has not been satisfied pursuant to <br /> Subparagraph {b) hereof, the complainant may file <br /> a formal complaint with the City Council in the form <br /> and manner to be specified thereby. The complaint to <br /> the City Council must be filed within six (6) months <br /> from the date of the Mayor's Statement accompanying <br /> a copy of the system's notice of refusal or inability <br /> to satisfy the complaint, and the complaint, to the <br /> City Council must make reference to the date of the <br /> complaint filed with the Mayor and that it is based <br /> .~ on the same facts as the complaint filed with the <br /> Mayor. If no complaint is filed with the City Council <br /> within the six (6) month period, the complainant will <br /> be deemed to have abandoned his complaint, and such <br /> complaint will be deemed dismissed. <br /> <br />(d) Notice of the foregoing procedures for reporting and <br /> resolving complaints will be given to each subscriber <br /> by the franchisee at the time of initial subscription <br /> to the cable sy~te~. <br /> <br /> Section 7. That Section '17 of Ordinance No..34-72, adopted June 19, <br />1972, now reading as ~ollows: <br /> <br />In compliance with Section 76.31{a){5} of the FCC, during <br />the term of this franchise, and any renewal thereof, the <br />Grantee shall, maintain within the City a local business. <br />office or agent, The provisions of this section shall be <br />complied with if Grantee maintains a local business head- <br />quarters office within 10 airline miles of the center of <br />the City; provides the City Mayor's office with the name, <br />address and phone number of a resident of the City who : <br />will act as Grantee's agent to receive complaints regarding <br />quality of service, equipment malfunctions and similar <br />matters, and at least once a week informs all subscribers <br />by appropriate announcement {e.g., by a slide card} over <br />the systems originations cable-casting channel of the <br />name, address and phone number of the Grantee's registered <br />agent for the~City. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />During the term of this franchise, and any renewal thereof, <br />the Grantee shall maintain within the City a local business <br />office and a government access studio.
