RDH 1565.07 Six Inch Foundation Walls (Repealed) <br /> <br />Section 1565.07 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />RDH 1575.08(d)(V) Subflooring (Enacted) <br /> <br />V. Plywood, at least ¼ inch thick, with face ply at least "C <br />plugged" grade and veneer next to face ply "C or better" grade <br />may be used as underlayment over an existing subfloorand/or <br />finish floor. <br />RDH 1575.12(a) Concrete Floors (Amended) <br /> <br />a) Precautions against water penetration. All ground supported <br />concrete floors shall be constructed to resist water penetration <br />from below and to provide a stable construction. Where subwater <br />conditions exist, footing drains shall be installed with porous <br />backfill as described in Chapter 23. Where there is a definite flow <br />of ground water toward the dwelling site, a ~rench drain shall <br />be installed on the uphill side or sides of the dwelling, <br />parallel to and approximately ten feet from such side or sides. <br />A 12-inch trench for the trench drain shall be carried down one foot <br />into an impervious layer or stratum, if such exists, or at least <br />one foot below the bottom of the foundation. Pervious clay or <br />concrete pipe, or vitrified clay, concrete or corrugated metal <br />pipe with perforations on the under side, shall be laid on a 2-inch <br />bed of sand. The pipe shall be not less than 4 inches in diameter <br />and shall be laid with water-tight joints on a continuous slope of <br />not less than ¼ inch pe~ foot and discharge with water-tight pipe and <br />joints into the storm sewer connection or other outlet approved by <br />the Board of Buildi-ng Standards. Footing drains, if ~ny, shall <br />not discharge into nor receive the pipe from the trench dra~n. <br />The trench shall be backfilled with sand to within 6 inches of <br />surface grade. The remaining backfill shall be clay topsoil <br />for lawn or shrubbery, or for a paved surface, a continuation of <br />the base for same. <br /> <br />RDH 1575.14 Asphalt Requirements (Enacted) <br /> <br /> The requirements for the installation of asphalt surfaces shall <br />be those as prescribed by the Building Official as amended from time to time. <br /> <br />RDH 1581.01Ty~e of-Wall Covering.
