(c) "Bulk container" shall be defined as a metal container <br />of not less than one (1) cubic yard nor more than eight (8) <br />cubic yards, made of watertight construction with doors and <br />c~nstructed so that they may be emptied mechanically by speci- <br />fically equipped trucks. <br /> <br />(d) Whoever is found guilty of violating any provision of <br />this Section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That new Section 1783.23 of the Sanitary Code of the Codi- <br />fied Ordinances of the City of Lakewood is hereby enacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />1783~23 MAINTENANCE OF CONSTRUCTION AND BUILDING SITES. <br /> <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any construction or demolition <br />contractor to fail to provide on site refuse receptacles, <br />bulk containers or detachable units for loose debris, paper, <br />building material waste, scrap building materials, and other <br />refuse produced by those working on the site. All such ma~ <br />terials shall be containerized by the end of each day and <br />the site shall be kept in reasonably clean and garbage free <br />condition. The number of refuse receptacles containers, <br />bulk containers or detachable units shall be determined by <br />the size of the job. Dirt, mud, construction materials or <br />the debris deposited upon any public or private property as <br />a result of the construction or demolition shall be immediat- <br />ly removed by the contractor. The construction site shall <br />be kept clean and orderly at all times. <br /> <br />(b) Whoever violates any provision of this <br />guilty of a minor misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section is <br /> <br /> Section 5. That new Section 505.13 of the General Offenses of <br />ified Ordinances of the City,of Lakewood be enacted to read as follows: <br /> ! <br /> 505.13 DOG EXCREMENT REMOVAL. <br /> <br />the Cod- <br /> <br />(a) No person shall allow a dog unde~- his or her control <br />to be upon public property or upon the property of another <br />(absent thercr~qent of the owner or occupant of the property) <br />without some' d~iice designed or intended for the removal or <br />containment of such dog's excrement; nor shall any person <br />fail to remove any excrement deposited by any dog under his <br />or her control. <br /> <br />(b) This ordinance shall not apply to guide dogs under the <br />control of a blind person. <br /> <br />(c) Whoever violates.any provision of this Section is guilty <br />of a minor misdemeanor and for each subsequent offense a mis- <br />demeanor of the fourth degree. <br /> <br /> <br />
