all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty <br />(40) hours per week. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal <br />Technicians shall receive time and one-half for all hours worked <br />on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in Section <br />149.10. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Tech- <br />nicians - Public Works Department, who work more than four (4) <br />hours as part of a regular shift assignment between the hours of <br />3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. shall receive a shift premium of twenty- <br />five cents ($.25) per hour for all hours worked during the second <br />shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight) and thirty cents ($.30) per <br />hour for all hours worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to <br />8:30 a.m.). In the event a Foreman - Class A is temporarily <br />transferred from his regular day shift to assignment to another <br />shift for the purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall .receive <br />a premium pay of fifty cents ($.50) per hour for every hour <br />worked up to eight (8) hours. <br /> <br />Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings <br />open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> Section 8. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; <br />otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law; and Ordinance 18-85 adopted <br />March 18, 1985, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith shall be and the same~pealed <br />at such time. ~. <br />Adopted: ~{~ /~/ /~/~ <br /> ~DENT <br /> <br />Approved~ <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
