Paper and pencil tests do not fare well under <br />content strategies. In fact, police entrance tests shou!~ not <br />typics!ly involve ~ob-re!ated know!e~ges anE skills that are <br /> <br />taugh~ ..... in +%~ ac.~= .... ~ in z shor~ ..... p~iD~ of time. A job ~escr~p~o~ <br /> <br />is ~ nice technical support for a criterion-related validation, <br />but it is not essential. <br /> <br />Our current generally validate~ test would likely survive ju~icia! <br />scrutiny if the standing is adverse impact under any color of any <br />la~ or regulation. The price of these tests is vo!ume-~ependent <br />but is generally in the area of $25 per applicant in volumes <br />over !00. <br /> <br /> <br />
