The Mayor explained that the $9.50 assessment is actually one-half <br />'the cost of resurfacing. The City's half would cover the cost of damage <br /> done by City vehicles; Refuse trucks, snow plows, etc. <br /> <br />CANNON AVENUE <br /> <br />No residents spoke. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Ziegenruecker that assessment be $9.50. Second: Mayor <br />Harbarger. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ATHENS {Warren to Carabel) <br /> <br />Councilman George spoke on behalf of constituents, citing Athens as <br />a busy east/west connecting street. He asked the Board to consider <br />a $3.00 reduction. <br /> <br />A resident from Reveley whose side yard was assessed asked: <br /> Q: were curbs to be included ? <br /> A: if needed, not an additional assessment <br /> Q: starting date <br /> A. approximately July 8 ,~ <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. <br />Gallagher. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Murman that assessment be $6.50. Second: Mr. J. <br /> <br />During the discussion of Athens, a resident asked why Bunts and Warren <br />had not had assessments when they were resurfaced. Mr. Ziegenruecker <br />explained that County and State routes are repaired by either of those <br />agencies at no cost to the City or residents. <br /> <br />ELBUR (Detroit to Franklin) <br /> <br />Mr. Rospert of 1527 Elbur asked if curbs and aprons were included, <br />stating that his curb is falling apart. <br /> <br />Mr. Ziegenruecker explained about the curbs and stated that he would <br />have someone check the apron as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Harbarger that assessment be $9.50. Second: Mr. Murman. <br />Motion Carried. <br /> <br />LAKELAND (Madison to Delaware) <br /> <br />Councilman George spoke on behalf of Lakeland residents, citing delivery <br />'truck traffic from the bars. He recommended a $2.00 reduction. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Harbarger that the assessment be $9.50. Second: Mr. <br />Presley. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
