o <br /> <br />"Public amusement area" means any place at which <br />one or more water slides or wave generating <br />pools are located, unless: <br />(a) Payment for using the water slide or wave <br /> generating pool is included in the fee <br /> charged for using a facility that is not <br /> intended primarily for operation of <br /> amusement rides, as defined in R.C. Section <br /> 1711.50, games, or similar attractions. <br /> Facilities not intended primarily for <br /> operation of amusement rides, games, or <br /> similar attractions include, but are not <br /> limited to, campgrounds, municipal parks, <br /> hotels, motels, apartment or condominium <br /> complexes, athletic clubs, and public <br /> swimming pools that also are used for <br /> swimming or diving; or <br />(b) The water slide or wave-generating pool is <br /> part of a facility that is not intended <br /> primarily for operation of amusement rides, <br /> games, or similar attractions and either no <br /> payment is required or a separate fee is <br /> charged for use of the slide or pool. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That Section 1721.04 of the Sanitary Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1721.04 FEES. <br /> <br />(a) · <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Lic~n~. Annual fees for licenses to conduct, <br />operate and maintain swimming pools, as required by <br />Section 1721.05, are as follows: <br /> <br />1. A public swimming pool for a period of twenty or <br /> less-weeks per calendar year - one hundred <br /> thirty dollars ($130.00). <br />2. A public swimming pool for a period in excess <br /> of twenty weeks per calendar year - three <br /> hundred fifty dollars ($350.00). <br />3. A family swimming pool - ten dollars ($10.00). <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1721.04 FEES. <br /> <br />(a) . . . <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />~.icmn~. Annual fees for licenses to conduct, <br />operate and maintain swimming pools, as required by <br />Section 1721.05, are as follows: <br /> <br />1. An individual public swimming pool: Two hundred <br /> ($200.00) Dollars; <br />2. An individual public spa: Two hundred ($200.00) <br /> Dollars; <br />3. An individual public special use pool: Two <br /> hundred ($200.00) Dollars; <br />4. An additional public swimming pool, public spa <br /> or public special use pool located at the same <br /> address as 1, 2 or 3 herein: One hundred <br /> ($100.00) Dollars; <br />5. Public swimming pools, public spas and public <br /> special use pools operated by governmental <br /> subdivisions or public schools: Fifty ($50.00) <br /> Dollars; <br />6.
