The cost of <br /> constructing a double connection at Vermilion is currently <br /> estimated at $3,000,000 more than constructing the single <br /> connection originally proposed in the Operating Plan. NS hereby <br /> commits tO flltld tlp to the ftlll cost of these CloggsviHe Connection <br /> projects. (NS previously committed in its Operating Plan to spend <br /> the approximately $2,597,000 needed to construct a single <br /> connection at Vermilion.) NS' commitment to fund up to the full <br /> cost of these projects is not limited to the current cost estimates <br /> contained herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Schedule: NS estimates that construction of the double <br /> connection at Vermilion will take three to five months to complete? <br /> and that cousU~ction of the improvements to the rail lines and <br /> facilities between Cloggsville and CP-t 90 will take 18 to 24 <br /> months to complete.
