the Director of Finance will allocate that cost to the funds based upon the total <br />allocation of all other hospitalizatiOn costs. <br /> <br /> (f) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay from City funds one- <br />half of the actual premium rate of dental insurance coverage as may be established by <br />the City for all annual salaried employees including Foremen Class A employees and the <br />Chiefs of the Divisions of Police and Fire but exclud ng all other members of the <br />Divisions of Police and Fire and full-time permanent hourly employees covered by a <br />collective bargaining agreement with the City, <br /> <br /> 149.141 HOSPTrALIZATION COVERAGE FOR COUNCILPERSONS. <br /> The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay from City funds the actual <br />premium costs of hospitalization coverage, and any subsequent increase in costs <br />therefore, if any, for Councilpersons in the City who are enrolled in the City's <br />hospitalization plan. <br /> <br /> 149.15 UNIFORMS FOR PARK CARETAKERS. <br /> Upon requisition issued by the Park Superintendent and approved bythe Mayor, <br />the Director of Finance is authorized and directed to pay, from the funds from time to <br />time appropriated for such purpose, the cost of uniforms for Traffic Signal Technicians <br />and Unit Managers. <br /> <br /> 149.16 M:[LTTAR¥ LEAVE; COMPENSA1/ON. <br /> (a) All full-time, permanent, hourly employees and all annual, salaried <br />employees, not covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall be granted leaves of <br />absence for military duty in accordance with State and federal law. <br /> <br /> (b) Any sUch employee of the City who is tempo_rarily called to active duty (e. <br />g., summer training) shall be granted a leave of absence for the duration of such active <br />duty and. shall be paid for a period of not more than one hundred seventy-six (176) <br />hours in any one calendar year and shall accumulate vacation, ongevity andsick leave <br />credit during the period of such leave. <br /> <br /> (c) An employee called or ordered to the uniform service for a period in <br />excess of one hundred and seventy six (176) hours in any calendar year as a result of <br />an execution order of the PreSident of the United States or an Act of Congress, is <br />entitled to leave of absence and receive pay for each bi-weekly pay period, as follows' <br /> 1. The difference between the employee's re(]ular aross month v wa~es <br /> and the Sum of. the employee's gross um~form'pay and allo'wan~:es <br /> received during that bi-weekly period; or <br /> 2. Five hundred dollars ($500.00). <br /> <br />The employee shall receive the greater amount stated above, provided that such <br />paymenEs do not result in an amount that exceeds the employee's gross wages for the <br />pay period as a City employee. <br /> <br /> 149.17 iVlILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> E.m. ploye~, o.f the City,. an.cl vol.u..nteers of Lakewood Office on Aging, who are <br />requ~rea to use melr persona~ aLrcomoDile in carrying out their duties on behalf of the <br />City, shall be paid a mileage allowance indexed to the per mile rate authorized by the <br />Internal Revenue Code; provided, however, that such personal car use shall be <br />approved by the appropriate departmen, t head and provided further that, when <br />applicable, such allowance shall not exceed the cost of round trip coach air fare for such <br />trip. <br /> <br /> 149;18 DEFERRED COMPENSATZON PLAN. <br /> (a) The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to establish a voluntary <br />deferred compensation plan for the City, to' take any and all action as necessary to <br />participate in the Ohio Deferred Compensation Plan on behalf of any employee who <br />agrees to participate, and to continue any agreements currently in effect, for those <br />employees formerly enrolled, in private deterred corn pensation plans. <br /> <br /> (b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized, by payroll deduction, to pay <br />any approved amounts to the Ohio Deferred Compensation Program or any other <br />existing deferred, compensation program on behalf of enrolled employees. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
