1741.09 LABELING ORGANIC CHEMICAL SALTS. <br />Any and all water which, though natural in the beginning, has had any organic chemical salts added to it or abstracted from it, <br />shall be labeled either "ARTIFICIAL" or "IMITATION", and the manner in which it has been altered shall be clearly stated in English on <br />the label of each container in which such water is offered for sale. <br />1741.10 SIMILARITY OF NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL PRODUCTS. <br />Any and all water made in imitation of the water from any spring and the name of which includes the word "ARTIFICIAL" or <br />"IMITATTON" as required by Sections 1741.08 and 1741.09 shalt clearly resemble in chemical composition the natuml water after which <br />it is named. <br />1741.11 CONTAMINATION. , <br />All bottled beverages shat) be clean and free from micro~~organisms and unless clean and free from micro-organisms shall be <br />deemed adulterated. <br />CHAPTER 1745 <br />Ice Cream <br />1745.01 APPLICATION OP OTHER PROVISIONS. <br />No building or portion of any building shall be used for the manufacture of ice cream unless such building conforms with all of <br />the provisions of law and ordinance relating to workshops and places where food is manufactured, including Chapters 1711 and 1739 of <br />this Sanitary Code and the provisions of Part Thirteen -Building Code, and no ice cream shall be manufactured in any cellar or <br />basement. <br />1745.02 REFREEZING. <br />No person shalt refreeze any ice cream or sell or offer for sale any ice cream that has been refrozea <br />1745.03 STANDARDS FOR UTENSILS AND OTHER APPARATUS.. <br />Every utensil, container, apparatus or tool used in preparing or manufacturing transporting or storing ice cream for sale shall <br />be wholly oftiq tinned copper or other nonabsorbent and noncorrosive material, and if seamed shall be flushed smooth. <br />1745.04 CLEANING OF UTENSILS. <br />Every vat, can, tank, pipe and every other utensil, container and tool that is used in the prepamtion and manufacture of ice <br />cream for sale shall be thoroughly scalded with boiling water or sterilized with steam for a period of a[ leas[ two minutes after each <br />separate using thereof. <br />1745.05 USE OF UTENSILS. <br />No utensil or container used in preparing or manufacturing, transporting or storing ice cream for sale shall be,used for any <br />other purpose, <br />1745.06 ADULTERATTON. <br />No person, firm or corporation shall prepare, manufacture, sell, keep for sale, deliver or suffer or permit to be prepared, <br />manufactured, sold, kept for sale or delivered any ice cream that is adulterated. Ice cream shall be deemed to be adulterated if any of the <br />provisions of this Sanitary Code shall be violated in the prepamtion, manufacture or sale thereof <br />1745.07 DEFINITIONS.. Repealed <br />1745.12 CRYLNG OF WARE9, Repealed <br />1745.13 GENERAL REGULATIONS Repealed <br />1745.14 PLACES WHERE SALE PROHIBITED. <br />(a) No peddler shall sell frozen desserts in areas designated and posted by the Director of Public Safety as congested <br />areas in which peddling shall be prohibited, <br />(b) No peddler shall sell frozen desserts in any City park, City playground or in any other Ciry grounds or buildings or in <br />any public school yard, public school building or public school playground, without a written permit from the official in charge of such <br />property <br />(c) No peddler shall sell frozendesserts on private property without the consent of the owner or the occupant thereof <br />1745.15 AUTHORITY OF OFFICIAL. <br />The official charged with the enforcement of this Sanitary Code is hereby authorized and empowered to seize and destroy any <br />container or impound any vehicle, if found in the possession of a manufacturer, licensee or peddler, which is of improper materiai or <br />construction, or is out ofrepaiq dirty or unsanitary <br />1745.36 SUSPENSION OF LICENSE. <br />The official charged with the enforcement of [his Sanitary Code shall have power to suspend any license if the licensee, or any <br />peddler employed by the licensee, does not comply in all respects with the provisions of this chapter and with all other applicable laws <br />and ordinances, or if avy false statement shall have been made by the licensee iri his application for the issuance of such license. <br />CHAPTER 1747 <br />13 <br />
