68-11 Repeal Chpt 1310 Residential Code, 1, 2 & 3 family Dwellings

The following chapters, sections or subsections of the International Residential Code, 2000 Edition, are hereby amended, enacted or repealed as follows: RI01.1 Title (Amended). These provisions shall be known as the Residential Code for One, Two and Three-Family Dwellings of the City of Lakewood, Ohio and shall be cited as such and will be referred to herein as "this code." R101.2 Scope (Amended). The provisions of the Residential Code for One, Two and Tlmee-Family Dwellings shall apply to the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, use and occupancy, location, removal and demolition of detached one, rivo and tluee-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in height with a separate means of egress and their accessory structures. Section R102.7 Existine struch~res (Repealed Section R102.7 is hereby repealed. Section R102.7.1 Additions, alterations or repairs (Repealed). Section R102.7.1 is hereby repealed. Section 8103 Department of BuildurQ Safet~(Repealed). Section R103 is hereby repealed. Section R105 Permits (Repealed). Section R105 is hereby repealed. Section R106 Constructimr documents (Repealed Section R106 is hereby repealed. Section R107 Temporary struchu~es and uses (Repealed). Section R107 is hereby repealed. Section R108 Fees (Repealed). Section R108 is Hereby repealed. R109.1.1 Foundation inspection (Amended). Inspection of the fonndation shall be made after trenches or basement areas are excavated and any required forms erected and any required reinforcing steel is hr place and prior to the placing of concrete. The foundation inspection shall include excavation for thickened slabs intended for the support of bearing walls, partitions, structural supports, or equipment and special requirements for wood foundations. R109.12 Plumbing, rechanical, eas and electrical systems inspection (Amended Rough inspection of plumbing, mechanical, gas and electrical system shall be made prior to covering or concealment and before fixtures or appliances are set or installed. Exception: Ground-source heat pump loop systems tested in accordance with Section M2105.1 shall be permitted to be backfilled prior to inspectiou. Section R109.1.3 Floodplain inspections (Repealed). Section R109.1.3 is hereby repealed. R110.2 Change in use (Amended). Changenr the occupancy or use of an existing shucture shall not be made except as specified in Chapter 34 of the Ohio Building Code. Section R112 Board of Appeals (Repealed). Section RI12 is hereby repealed.
